David Wingar

David joined the financial services industry in 1988 and became an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) in 1992. He attained partnership in an IFA practice the following year. This position continued until he left the practice and entered a new partnership with two other former colleagues, who together formed Future Asset Management LLP in December 2004.

Through his commitment to continued professional development, David obtained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in financial services with not only advising clients and assisting with their financial planning; most with long-term goals towards retirement, but also running a successful financial services practice, which today bears the legacy of his commitment, passion and dedication to providing a high quality service to new and existing clients.

David is now retired from his financial planning activities and day to day running of the practice but is still involved in important decision-making of the business. He has said many times that it was the client interaction and helping them on their journey to financial freedom, which he enjoyed immensely and the part of his retirement that he misses the most.

Even though now retired, David still maintains his personal development and good health. He’s enjoying lots of long walks with a local ramblers group; using his leadership skills to navigate his group, and spending more social time with family and friends.
