About Tim

After graduating from university with a first-class honour’s degree in Economics, Tim began working for Citibank before moving to work for Royal London. This meant that he already had some useful knowledge of the industry prior to joining Future Asset Management in 2017.

Since joining, Tim has excelled since day one, with the firm providing help and support throughout his development. In March 2018, he received his Certificate in Mortgage Advice allowing him to advise on regulated mortgage products. He subsequently went on to achieve the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in March 2019, allowing Tim to give advice on all aspects of financial planning, including pensions, investments, mortgages and protection. Furthermore, he achieved the Certified Financial Planner qualification in November 2022 and then Chartered Wealth Manager status in April 2023.

Under the excellent mentoring of Graham and David, Tim has learnt useful and important skills which have helped him to escalate his knowledge and experience. This brings a new dimension to the firm with his great communication skills, not only with client rapport, but also securing professional connections with like-minded people.

In his role as a Financial Planner, Tim’s primary tasks include meeting clients to discuss financial goals and objectives which centre around an holistic view of the client’s circumstances, lifestyle etc, and subsequently creating financial plans which considers the objectives to provide a solution that meets any needs and requirements. This may include preparation of investment recommendation reports.

Tim shares our values and aims to always consider the clients’ best interests. His passion for the business is evident and the firm welcomes his input to improve areas such as our internal processes and systems. Also, as a member of the firm’s internal Investment Committee, Tim collects data for each quarter which is then discussed and considered for any changes to the firm’s recommendations for investment solution products.

He enjoys his free time walking his dog Oscar and occasionally playing golf although he expects his free time to reduce significantly as he and his partner are expecting their first child in June 2024.
