Company History
In the beginning…
David Wingar, Senior Partner, joined the financial services industry in 1988, working with Allied Dunbar. He became an Independent Financial Adviser in 1992 and became a joint partner in a financial services practice in 1993.
David soon realised that a certain group of his clients were requesting specialist advice to help them deal with their particular circumstances and needs.
These clients tended to be high net worth individuals, professional people and entrepreneurs running their own businesses.
Specialist services
David decided to concentrate on supplying high-quality comprehensive and specialist
services to the niche client base he had identified.
Growth
Joined immediately by Cathie Rowe, Partner (Client Services) and Nicola Wingar, Partner (Administration), Future Asset Management LLP was formed on 1st December 2004 and was registered by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in January 2005.
Cathie Rowe had joined financial services in 2000, working as a Personal Assistant to an Independent Financial Adviser. She was awarded the Financial Planning Certificate in 2003 and was registered by the FSA to give advice in January 2007.
Nicola Wingar joined financial services in 1998 as an Administrator for an independent practice. Her experience in new business processing and general administration proved invaluable and she was promoted to Administration Manager.
Referrals
'Word of mouth' referrals and personal recommendations brought increasing numbers of introductions and new business.
Expansion
This led to an early expansion within the company and the employment of new staff, including the freelance services of marketing expert, Kathy Wheeler, who joined the company in 2006.
Sister companies
With increasing numbers of enquiries from the business world, the Partners soon realised that there was demand for a company dedicated entirely to offering business solutions and strategy planning for entrepreneurs. Future Business Management Ltd* was therefore formed in 2006.
New growth - new offices!
With new members of staff, Hayley Lewis (Client Services Administrator) and Louise Park (New Business Administrator), the Future Group of companies has outgrown its current offices.
Our new location at the prestigious Waterton Park, Bridgend, means that we will be
able to continue offering our valued clients a high standard of financial planning
services in a professional, welcoming and client-friendly environment.
